    Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB)
    invites applications from eligible Bhutanese candidates for the post of Assistant Research Officer under the Bhutan Leptospirosis Project (Office of the President, KGUMSB) on a contract basis.

    Position Details

    • Position Title: Assistant Research Officer

    • Position Level: PL8 (Equivalent to P5 of Civil Service)

    • Employment Type: Contract (1 Year)

    • Number of Slots: 1

    • Job Sector: Research, Audit and Evaluation

    Minimum Qualification

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following:

      • Public Health

      • MBBS

      • Medical Technology

      • Biotechnology

      • Other health-related disciplines

    Preferred Qualification

    • Master’s Degree or PhD in:

      • Biotechnology

      • Medical Laboratory Technology

      • MPH

      • MD (with Research & Publication)

      • Epidemiology

      • Other health-related disciplines

    Eligibility

    • Applicants must be 18 years and above

    • Must meet KGUMSB recruitment criteria

    Required Documents

    • Academic transcripts & course completion certificates (Class X, XII, Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD)

    • Relevant training certificates (if any)

    • Valid Medical Fitness Certificate

    • Citizenship Identity Card (both sides)

    • Audit Clearance Certificate (if currently employed)

    • Merit/other certificates (if any)

    • One recent passport-size photograph

    • One legal stamp
