Job Description
Job Summary:
The Restaurant Waitstaff is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner

Present menus and explain food and beverage items when needed
-
Take accurate orders and input them into the POS system
-
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
-
Ensure guest needs are met throughout their dining experience

Clear and reset tables after guests leave
-
Prepare the dining area before service (set tables, restock napkins, condiments)
-
Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints with care
-
Present bills, process payments, and return change/receipts
-
Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times
-
Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service

Assist with cleaning duties and end-of-shift closing tasks
Qualifications and Requirements:

Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
-
Good spoken communication skills in English/local language

Polite, friendly, and customer-focused
-
Able to work on weekends, holidays, and shift hours
-
Physically fit (able to stand and walk for long hours)

Basic math skills (for handling payments)

Team player with a positive attitude

Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
